Ibis Budapest Citysouth

Fab location. Metro is next door (Határ út station). Shopmark shopping centre is 5 min walk, there’s all sorts of shops including currency exchange (they charge commission). The bus 200E stops opposite the hotel across the road, takes you straight to the airport. From the airport it’s Határ Út stop where you get off for the hotel. Every room has a balcony. If you arrive at 2am, there’s 24 hrs reception, they check you in. They even helped to weigh my luggage at the reception when I left. If you want breakfast it’s about 4300 Forints (about £9 it’s a buffet, hot and cold, yummy. At the back there’s a lovely garden, nature lovers check it out. You can buy coffee/alcohol/drinks by the reception 24 hrs. Pets are welcome (not sure about snakes 😁), I’ve seen doggies in the hotel. I’ve stayed for a week, they changed the bedding on the 4th day 👍 they change towels daily, just leave it on the floor. You can adjust the heating in the room. You can get the metro to Deák French Tér, that’s the famous centre with all the attractions.

Very nice room, spacious and clean, and very good breakfast with lots of choices. The location is very close to the metro station ( 3 minutes walk) that goes directly to the city center. We came by car, and we had free parking spot, in front of the hotel. Despite the fact that there is no fridge in the room, the hotel staff was so nice, and they offered to keep our food in the office fridge.

Fantastic location. The metro (underground) is next door to take you to the centre. There’s Shopmark shopping mall next door, everything you need, it’s there. Even change currency opposite Spar inside. If you arrive late, you can check in 24 hours. If you’re hungry and need a coffee at odd hours, ask at the reception. Brilliant. Every room has a balcony. The front you can watch the world go by, at the back, you can watch the birds and squirrels in the trees. I’ve stayed here before and upgraded the bathroom. Very snazzy! If you haven’t paid for breakfast, you can pay at the reception, they have a great buffet style breakfast, hot/cold/vegan/hot drinks etc. Thank you Ibis City South!

Everything was awesome, room was clean and very comfortable. Stuff was friendly and helpful. Lovely time spent I strongly recommend!! ❤️ Definitely would go there again!

Dear people, the place is the best location in Budapest, the overall score is wrong and not worth paying attention, here you have free parking in front of the hotel, metro line in front of the hotel, big and clean rooms, good price, it's the second time I come back here and I am very satisfied and I will come back here again. Professional and dedicated staff, thanks to Dorothea for her help and congratulations to all the staff, see you next time!
